Anionic polyacrylamide (APAM) is a water-soluble polymer primarily used for flocculation sedimentation and clarification treatment of industrial wastewater, including wastewater from steel mills, electroplating plants, metallurgical facilities, coal washing operations, and sludge dewatering processes. It also serves in drinking water purification systems. The molecular structure of APAM contains specific negative groups

that enable it to adsorb suspended solids in water. By forming interparticle bridges or neutralizing charges through charge balancing, APAM promotes particle aggregation into larger flocs, thereby accelerating sedimentation rates and significantly enhancing solution clarification and filtration efficiency.

Packaging and storage

Polyacrylamide is generally 15kg, 25kg, pp bag or paper plastic composite bag packaging, can also be packaged according to customer requirements.

The number of stacking layers should not exceed 20, the shelf life is 2 years, the product should be stored in a cool, dark, ventilated and dry place, pay attention to moisture protection.

Safety

Polyacrylamide is a non-toxic and non-corrosive product. If it sticks to skin, eyes or sucked into mouth during

use, it should be washed with water in time. Do not eat it.
