Comet-style fiber filter media demonstrates remarkable potential in filtration technology and water treatment applications. The high-efficiency water treatment system, comprising three core technologies including this filter material and related filtration techniques, has achieved international advanced standards.

This innovative material combines the superior contaminant retention capability of fiber filter media with the effective backwashing performance of granular filter media. Its most distinctive features are the asymmetric structure and fractal design. The D-type filter and D-type filter tank developed with this material at its core successfully integrate three critical requirements: high-speed filtration, high precision, and large contaminant holding capacity. These systems exhibit wide coverage, variable flow rates, adaptive operation, and high efficiency, achieving filtration accuracy exceeding 5 microns. Recommended filtration speeds range from 17-23 m/h, with a residual sludge rate below 1-2%.

The sewage capacity of filter bed reaches 15-35 kg/m3, compared with the traditional sand filter, the volume is reduced by 1/2-1/3, and the water consumption of backwash is reduced by 2/3-1/2.
