Dissolved Air Flotation (DAF) Unit

The Dissolved Air Flotation (DAF) Unit is a highly efficient system that separates suspended solids from water using microbubble technology. In this process, air is dissolved under high pressure and then rapidly released to form microbubbles (20–30 μm in diameter). These microbubbles attach to suspended flocs in the water, forming air-floc aggregates with a density lower than water, allowing them to float quickly to the surface and form a scum layer for removal.

Product Description

The Dissolved Air Flotation (DAF) Unit is a highly efficient system that separates suspended solids from water using microbubble technology. In this process, air is dissolved under high pressure and then rapidly released to form microbubbles (20–30 μm in diameter). These microbubbles attach to suspended flocs in the water, forming air-floc aggregates with a density lower than water, allowing them to float quickly to the surface and form a scum layer for removal.

The equipment features a compact design and small footprint, making it ideal for industrial and municipal wastewater pretreatment, effluent polishing, and algae removal.

Skid-Mounted DAF System:
The DAF unit can be integrated with dosing systems and peripheral equipment into a skid-mounted design for easy transportation, rapid installation, and plug-and-play operation.
