The Inclined Tube (Plate) Settler is a highly efficient sedimentation system designed based on the shallow tank sedimentation theory. Multiple densely arranged inclined tubes or plates are installed in the sedimentation zone to enhance particle settling. As the water flows upward through the inclined media, suspended solids settle onto the tube (or plate) surfaces and slide downward under gravity to the sludge collection zone, where they are discharged.

Product Description

The Inclined Tube (Plate) Settler is a highly efficient sedimentation system designed based on the shallow tank sedimentation theory. Multiple densely arranged inclined tubes or plates are installed in the sedimentation zone to enhance particle settling. As the water flows upward through the inclined media, suspended solids settle onto the tube (or plate) surfaces and slide downward under gravity to the sludge collection zone, where they are discharged.

This design can improve sedimentation efficiency by 50–60% and increase treatment capacity by 3–5 times compared to traditional clarifiers of the same footprint, offering both technical and economic advantages. The unit is typically used in combination with other wastewater treatment systems.

Application Range

The settler features multiple closely spaced, parallel inclined plates or tubes, which significantly enhance settling performance and effluent clarity — particularly effective for removing fine or dispersed particles.
